Moza lanceert SGP shifter
Bij Moza lijkt het nooit lang stil te zijn als het gaat om nieuwe producten en komt met regelmaat met iets "nieuws" op de proppen. Nu komt Moza met de SGP shifter, een betaalbare sequentiële shifter van hoge kwaliteit volgens Moza.
Nadat men op de Gamescom 2023 al een eerste blik kon werpen op het prototype van de MOZA SGP Sequential Shifter, was de komst en het design van de shifter geen grote verrassing. Hij is voorzien van een aluminium behuizing en is met zijn afmetingen van 320mm x 182mm x 52mm relatief compact.
In combinatie met de montageplaat aan de onderkant van de shifter is de Moza SGP shifter in de meese gevallen zonder problemen op rigs te monteren
Opvallend is het extra handeltje aan de aan de voorzijde van de shifter, hiermee kan bijvoorbeeld de neutrale positie van de versnellingsbak bereikt worden zonder dat alle versnellingen doorlopen hoeven te worden. Daarnaast zijn er twee RGB-verlichte knoppen in de behuizing geïntegreerd. Deze kunnen naar wens worden geprogrammeerd en middels software van kleur worden veranderd.
Aansturing gaat middels een contactloze Hall sensor wat volgens Moza resulteert in "hoge stabiliteit zonder slijtage, wat constant en betrouwbaar schakelen over een lange periode garandeert".
De shifter kan zowel in hoogte als in de kracht die nodig is om te schakelen worden aangepast. Bovendien kan de versnellingspook worden vervangen. Voor de werking kan de shifter ofwel via een USB-kabel met de PC worden verbonden, of rechtstreeks via de Transit-poort met een Moza wheelbase.
De shifter kan per direct voor een prijs van €139 bij Moza Racing worden ge pre-ordered echter komen daar nog verzendkosten, belastingen en mogelijk douanekosten bij. Eind Februari start Moza met het uitleveren van de SGP shifter pre-orders.
