Sabelt stapt in wereld van sim racing
De Italiaanse fabrikant Sabelt (vooral bekend van de race stoelen) stapt in de wereld van sim racing en lanceert diverse nieuwe sim racing rigs. De eerste 2 rigs zijn de P97 en de P99, rigs in formule stijl en compatible met de SRP-1 stoel van het merk. Goedkoop zijn de rigs niet, de P97 begint vanaf €997 terwijl de P99 heeft een vanaf prijs heeft van €1299.
In beide gevallen gaat het dan om de versie met een standaard "wheel deck" waar praktisch alle wheelbases op gemonteerd kunnen worden en zowel de P97 als de P99 komen met een pedal tray waar je de pedalen op kwijt kunt. Een stoel ontbreekt echter nog, wil je de rig complementeren met de SRP-1 van Sabelt mag je daar nog eens €549 extra voor afrekenen.
Sabelt P99
Sabelt P99 is the high-end formula cockpit of Sabelt Sim Racing. In combination with the SRP-1 seat it offers a professional and uncompromising driving experience for all formula sim racing lovers. The rigidity of the rig is guaranteed by the generous sizes of the aluminum profiles it is made of. Wheel mount (3 options) and Ultra Pedal Mount are included.

Sabelt P97
Sabelt P97 is the smaller and lighter cockpit of P Series formula rigs. The high quality aluminum profiles still make it stiff while the aluminum plates allow a wide range of adjustments. Sabelt SRP-1 seat is recommended to fully enjoy the formula experience. Wheel mount (3 options) and Ultra Pedal Mount are included.

Verschil tussen beide rigs zit hem dus eigenlijk alleen in het formaat van de gebruikte profielen en de kleur van de prints. De prijzen die sabelt rekent mogen fors genoemd worden wanneer je de P97 en P99 vergelijkt met bijvoorbeeld de Treq Formula of de SimXPro Luso Motors bundle welke rond de prijs van een Sabelt P97 zitten maar steviger in elkaar lijken te zitten en in tegenstelling tot de Sabelt rigs wel met stoel geleverd worden.
