Sim-Lab XP1 pedalen

Sim-Lab kennen we vooral van de aluminium rigs, het Nederlandse bedrijf is misschien wel één van de meest bekende namen op dat vlak. Nu komt Sim-Lab ook met een eigen pedaalset genaamd de XP1 welke een beetje in dezelfde vijver vist qua prijssegment als die andere hele bekende Nederlandse pedalen bouwer, Heusinkveld. 

De XP1 pedalen hebben een vanaf prijs van €499,- en zijn daarmee iets goedkoper dan de Sprints van Heusinkveld welke al jarenlang een vaste waarde zijn binnen de sim race wereld wanneer je op zoek bent naar een set echt goede pedalen die nog enigszins betaalbaar zijn. 

Waar de XP1 pedalen van Sim-Lab echter echt het verschil mee maken zijn de looks van de pedalen en de mate van afwerking. Waar de Heusinkveld Sprints voorzien zijn van een 13 in een dozijn look spingen de Sim-Lab XP1 pedalen er toch echt wel uit op dat vlak.

Waar bij de Heusinkveld Sprint's alle pedalen voorzien zijn van een loadcell is dat bij de XP1 pedalen van Sim-Lab alleen het geval bij het rempedaal, deze is uitgerust met een 200Kg loadcell terwijl het gas en koppelingspedaal zijn voorzien van een hall sensor.

Sim-Lab levert bij de pedalen een stukje software genaamd "Race Director" waarmee het mogelijk is om o.a. de pedalcurves in te kunnen stellen.
